A 60 ft narrowboat, perfect for families or a group of friends. The semi trad rear deck boasts an enclosed seating area, which is great for socialising and a comfortable meal al fresco. It also provides a safe place for children and pets.The internal layout consists of 2 bedrooms, both can be made up either into a double or two singles. The dinette in the living area can be converted into another double.
Shadowfax is ideal for a city trip to Chester or a relaxing cruise up to Ellesmere on the Llangollen Canal or a more active route all the way to Llangollen. Hurleston Junction, the gateway to the Llangollen Canal, is only a 3 hours cruise away from the hire base in Beeston. Enjoy the peaceful countryside of Cheshire, watch Kingfishers hunt for their prey and visit historic sights such as Beeston or Chirk Castle.

Hire Base Terms & Conditions
Please Note:
From the end of October until the beginning of March boat hire is available on a flexible basis weeks /short breaks and not necessarily keeping to a particular boats stated start and finish days/dates. Christmas and New Year hire can be arranged to suit your needs are far as possible. Read more about winter hire here. Please enquire with your requirements.
