Terms of service agreement

Roam And Roost carries on the business of providing an online platform, being the Roam And Roost Website, for the renting of equipment such as narrowboats, widebeams or other equipment to customers on a commercial basis.

Roam And Roost partners with lots of different boat rental operators and facilitates users in finding a boat and reaching a Booking Agreement with our of our partners.

Roam And Roost is NOT acting as a party in any Booking Agreement entered into from our website or subsequently after using our website to find a boat rental operator. Such agreements are direct with the your hire boat operator. Roam And Roost acts as the Platform where boats can be advertised, and payments are facilitated.

All monies paid, including booking deposits and balances of hire, are received by each boat hire operator although such payments may be facilitated and passed though our online payments systems or bank account.

When sumbitting a Booking Request you'll be asked to submit information about yourself. By providing this information to us, or by submitting a booking request, you are requesting, and you expressly consent to being contacted by us and by our narrowboat hire companies and providers via phone, email or other reasonable means, at any of your contact numbers or addresses, in order that we may gather information about and respond to your booking request. If receival of marketing is opted into we may also use your email to send marketing related emails.

Best Price Guarantee

We always endeavour to show the best available price, however there may be a small delay when a price is updated at the source with the hire company. In these situations you should always get the lower price as the booking is finalised. If you find the same accommodation available at a lower price on an alternative website for the same boat, same location and same number of people we will match that price. We do require evidence of the lower price within 7 days of booking which can be supplied to us via e-mail for example in the form of a screenshot of website url.
