When your make a booking request we collect and process the following information:

Full Name, Email Address, Preferred Contact Number of the lead passenger, details of your party such as number of adults, number of children and number of pets and if applicable the age of the children or type of pets. We also collect "additional information" if you provide it typically this will be a comment about yourself or your desired holiday that does not fit the previous input fields e.g "We are beginners so would prefer a limit amount of locks - can you suggest a route?", and your narrowbaot experience level.

This information is provided to us directly by you in order for us to request a booking for one of our partners as such we will share those details with the partner you have select for the purpose of finding you a boat to hire.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information is: Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting privacy@roamandroost.co.uk

Our website is using Tidio, a chat platform that connects users with our customer support agents:

The messages and data exchanged are stored within the Tidio application, we don't ask for Name or Email within the chat unless it's required for us to respond to your query at a later date. For more information, please refer to their Privacy Policy. Roam And Roost is not making use of these messages or data other than to follow up on users’ registered issues or inquiries. Your personal data will be processed and transmitted in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We use Piwik PRO Analytics Suite as our website/app analytics tool.

We collect data about website visitors. The collected information may include a visitor’s IP address, operating system, browser ID, browsing activity and other information. We calculate metrics like bounce rate, page views, sessions and the like to understand how our website/app is used. We may also create visitors’ profiles based on browsing history to analyze visitor behavior. The purpose of data processing: analytics and conversion tracking based on consent. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR. Piwik PRO does not send the data about you to any other sub-processors or third parties and does not use it for its own purposes.
